Cool Whip is a 6 year old gelding.  1D barrel horse who is a class act.  Hauls good, happy to be on his own or with other horses.  He is all of 15.1 hh and is beautiful.

This past summer, Cool Whip was the 1D Champion of the Crushin Cans barrel series, Derby Champion and has consistently worked his way up the ladder, getting more solid and confident with each run.  He will not run by a barrel and is push style.   Round and correct in his turns, not a barrel knocker or slicer.  Moves away from leg pressure, round in the rib cage and soft in the bridle.  Lateral movements in his shoulders,  Reverse arcs, roll backs, sliding stops.  Cool Whip has a long stride, feels like he is loping but clocks!

Good in the box on both both sides, stays quiet after many steers.  He tracks cattle and will hunt the corner.

Patterned on the poles, started on breakaway cattle.

Zero maintenance besides routine therapy with bemer blanket.

Great bone and feet.  He is built to last and has never been injured or sick.

"Cool whip" has spent his winters in Arizona and his summers at the community pasture.  He will ride through thick brush, over and into water, works with dogs and you an tie off on him to treat.

​

Cool Whip is the perfect cross of run and cow.  Plain Special is his sire, who needs no introduction in the Quarter Horse World.  The dam, being Miss Salonos Freedom.

​

This gelding is a superstar that is hard to part with.  He is always willing and tons of fun.  We are proud to offer this young horse who is talented enough for the whole family to win on!
